Today we released new version of our themes which support new Twitter API 1.1
Below we show you how you should configure your theme to work with new Twitter API
Step 1: Sign in to Twitter or Create your Twitter account
Sign in to Twitter. If you don’t already have a Twitter account, you need to creat this account now.
Step 2: Create your Twitter App
After you sign in, you need to create your app here: application creation page. You need to fill all fields.
- Name: Your Application Name, ex. yoursite name news
- Description: Your Application Description, ex. This app showing my news from twitter.
- WebSite: Your website address, ex. http://bootstrapmaster.com
- Callback URL: Your website address, ex. http://bootstrapmaster.com
Step 3: Authorize your domain
Go to the @Anywhere domains and add there your domain bootstrapmaster.com, if you website on your localhost be sure that you add also localhost to authorized domains
Step 4: Get Access Tokens
Go back to Detail page and copy following keys:
- Access Token
- Access Token Secrect
- Consumer Key
- Consumer Secret
If you don’t see your Access Token or Access Token Secret push button below “Create My Access Token”
Step 5: Setting up twitter.php
When you have this keys and authorized your domain, open twiter.php and paste them to the correct fields:

Step 6: Setting up custom.js
Find this code in custom.js
and change bootstrapmaster to youraccountname
